CLINIC INFO:

  • There is free underground parking for clients which is located behind the clinic, off of the alleyway between Arbutus and Maple Street. Please park in any of the parking stalls labeled Better Bodies. Remember to give yourself extra time to get to your appointment as there may be traffic delays due to the ongoing construction and expansion of the Skytrain along West Broadway.

  • Changing rooms, lockers, towels, as well as showers with shampoo and conditioner are also available for your use.

PLEASE NOTE THAT:

  • I do not offer Direct Billing to extended health insurance companies. However, a detailed receipt will be provided via email, that you can submit to your specific extended health insurance provider for reimbursement of the appointment cost.
  • I offer Direct Billing for ICBC and WorkSafeBC clients ONLY.
  • I have a 24 HOUR cancellation policy. If you cancel past this point, you will be charged 100% of the appointment cost.
  • To book a WorkSafeBC or ICBC appointment, you must have a valid claim number upon booking.

Physiotherapists or physical therapists (PTs) are regulated, evidence-based, primary health care professionals who aim to prevent, assess and treat the impact of injury, disease and/or disorders in movement and function. Each service offered under Physiotherapy is covered under most Physiotherapy insurance benefits and can be billed to your insurance provider. During your initial appointment, your physiotherapist will ask many detailed questions about your health history, pain/injury, and your goals for treatment in order to evaluate & assess your physical condition. They will use a combination of hands on clinical assessment techniques to assess, diagnose and treat your symptoms which may include, but is not limited to, an analysis of your movement patterns, strength, range of motion, reflexes, sensations and pain patterns. Subsequent, or follow up treatments, may combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription and education to help you return to function as soon as possible.

WorkSafeBC Physiotherapy

The WorkSafe physiotherapy treatment model provides a structured, standardized approach to supporting people in their recovery from work-related injuries. The treatment model allows for the return of the physical and functional levels necessary to enable the return to pre-injury work. You must have an open and valid claim number to book this session type.


ICBC Physiotherapy

ICBC Physiotherapy coverage is for any client with an open and valid ICBC claim and funding approval from a case manager.
After April 1, 2019 if you are seeking treatment for the first time within 12 weeks of your MVA accident, you are entitled to 25 pre-approved treatments sessions.

Brigitta (Bri) completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Queen’s University and her Master of Physiotherapy at Western University. Bri continues to explore her curiosity and interest in her field by taking ongoing continuing education and post-graduate training and courses. She has additional training in manual therapy, IMS/Dry needling, pre/post natal and pelvic floor physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, running assessment and running-related injuries, exercise performance and return to sport. She has an active approach to rehab and has a strong focus on functional movement re-training. Bri has had a lifelong passion for sports and the outdoors, having competed in sport at the provincial level, completed numerous half marathons, multi-day hikes, and an Ironman 70.3. She loves treating athletes of all levels, as well any anybody who is seeking an active approach to injury prevention or rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, you can find Bri pursuing her passions of hiking, skiing, running and strength training at the gym.
